The Champions League of cycling comes to Ostrava
The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup is the top club series in cyclo-cross — the equivalent of football's Champions League. Out of hundreds of cities worldwide only 12 host a round. Season 2026/27 kicks off right here in Ostrava.
Cyclo-cross is the wildest discipline in road cycling — a one-hour sprint through mud, sand and stairs, where riders shoulder their bikes and run. In Belgium and the Netherlands it is a national sport followed by millions.
The first edition in Ostrava in 2026 builds on 6 years of successful Toi Toi Cup races in Dolní Vítkovice. A local race becomes the only night round of the World Cup — a phenomenon that will draw journalists and fans from across Europe.
For you as a spectator it means one thing: we're at home hosting the very best cyclo-cross has to offer. No need to travel to Belgium. Just hop off at Dolní Vítkovice.

Riders test the course. 16:00 to 18:00.

UCI Women Junior, 18:15–19:00. The next generation of girls under 18.
- 19:45Junior men's race
UCI Men Junior, 19:45–20:35. Tomorrow's stars.

- 14:00Gates, expo and food zone open
Doors open — food zone, expo and fan zone in full swing.
- 15:45Official training — women
Elite women training, 15:45–16:30.
- 17:15Official training — men
Elite men training, 17:15–18:00.
- 18:15Elite Women race
18:15–19:15. The main women's World Cup race under floodlights. Awards ceremony from 19:15.
- 19:45Elite Men race
19:45–20:55. Climax of the night — world stars in the only night race of the season. Awards ceremony from 20:55.
- 21:30Side programme kicks off
Show and afterparty right after the elite finish.

Open in MapsPublic transport
Trams no. 1, 2, 6 and 10 — get off at Dolní Vítkovice (or Dolní Vítkovice Hlubina). From the main railway station take tram no. 1 or 2 (direct, about 11 minutes).
The tram stop is located right at the entrance to the Dolní oblast Vítkovice area. Just step off the tram and walk through the main gate straight towards the Gong and the course.
By car
Arrive via Místecká street (road I/56) or Ruská / Vítkovická street.
Use the official large-capacity car park directly in the DOV area (P1 car park near the Gong / below the Bolt Tower) or the nearby overflow car parks.
